Important news for all accredited programs

Each year in August, NLNAC publishes the annual edition of the Accreditation Manual with Interpretive Guidelines by Program Type. The 2007 edition of the Accreditation Manual will not be published this fall. In conjunction with the ongoing work of the Committee on the Accreditation Standards and Criteria, the 2008 Standards and Criteria will be presented in the 2008 edition of the Accreditation Manual, which will be published in early 2008. The 2006 edition of the Accreditation Manual currently available will continue to be utilized by all programs until the new Standards and Criteria have been approved.

Programs undergoing accreditation site visits in Spring 2008 and Fall 2008 will be reviewed in accordance with the 2005 Standards and Criteria (available in the 2006 Edition of the NLNAC Accreditation Manual with Interpretive Guidelines by Program Type)
.
